Terms of sale

These terms apply to every purchase of a template on buildindex.dev. The templates are made and licensed by Ayoub EHIRCHIOU, Geneva, Switzerland (“Build Index”, “we”).

Orders are processed by Polar Software, Inc. (“Polar”), which acts as merchant of record and reseller: Polar sells you the product, takes the payment, issues the receipt and handles sales tax and VAT. Polar's buyer terms apply to the payment. Build Index provides the files, the license and support.

• A template is the complete source code of a Next.js project, delivered as a zip. Each template is sold separately for a total of $9 USD.
• Prices in USD, including applicable VAT and sales tax. The total, tax included, is shown at checkout before you pay.
• You pay once. There is no subscription and no renewal.
• The short video on each template page previews its animated views. The download includes the complete project. The data shown in the videos is fictional.

• The purchase is complete when Polar confirms your payment.
• Right after payment you receive an email from Polar with your receipt and a link to download the template's zip.
• You can download your files again at any time from the link in that email.
• To run a template you need Node.js 20.9 or later and npm: unzip, then npm install and npm run dev.

The files are digital content delivered immediately. If you live in the EU or the UK, by completing checkout you ask for immediate delivery and accept that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the download is available. Swiss law gives no general right of withdrawal for online purchases. The refund policy applies in every case.

Every purchase comes with the Build Index License, included as LICENSE.md in each zip. In short:

• use the template in unlimited personal and commercial projects, for yourself or for clients;
• change it as you wish;
• don't resell, sublicense, share or redistribute the source code, as is or modified, as a template, UI kit, theme or starter;
• don't include it in a product whose main value is the template itself.

The license is personal to the buyer. Agencies may use a template in any number of client projects; each client receives the finished project, not the template.

- use it in unlimited personal and commercial projects, for yourself or for clients;
- modify it as you wish.

You may NOT:

- resell, sublicense, share or redistribute the template's source code, as is or modified, as a template, UI kit, theme or starter;
- include it in a product whose main value is the template itself.

Illustrated avatars are generated with DiceBear styles under the CC0 license. Icons: Lucide (ISC). Fonts: Google Fonts (OFL).

The template is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

The templates are provided as is. If a file doesn't install or run as described on its product page, write to hello@buildindex.dev and we fix it or refund you (see refunds). Support covers the template as delivered, not changes you make to it.

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the template concerned. This limit does not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

We may update these terms. The version published on the day of your purchase applies to that purchase.

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Place of jurisdiction: Geneva, canton of Geneva. If you buy as a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules and courts of your country of residence remain available to you.
